.
Q: How have you been sir?
A: I am perfect.
Q: what was your purpose behind your visit to USA and Europe?
A: I went USA to take part for the NAB show. Personalities related with 160 national movies, radio, and audio took part too. I feel proud to take part in NAB show that I had been hearing for long. It’s a great pleasure for us to know new ideas and its discoveries. I went to Europe to see the possible locations for the shooting but as we say if you are truly passionate about something nothing can stop you so I got to see the Nepali film city and talk about it with my friends and organizations.
Q: Your works never fail to impress us. What was your inspiration behind the movies related with fictions?
A: Every director wish that their movie is appreciated by all. That the movie gives a positive impact in people’s life and I feel “Teen Ghumti” is one of the movies having actions with fruits. It’s a challenge for us to present the masterpiece “Teen Ghumti” written by Bishweswor Pd. Koirala and late pm B.P. Koirala in the screens. But with the hope of making it the best we can I had an amazing team. My team made it possible with its immense hard work and sacrifices. With the entire and equal dedication of the team we made a beautiful novel “The Movie”. I always wanted to create something different thinking outside the box and “Teen Ghumti” gave me this chance which I am grateful for.
Q: The movie gave its premier at same time in London and Nepal. What was the reaction of the people after the premier?
A: Yes we premiere movie at same time in London and Nepal. In the London premiere, the acting president Tej Bhandur Chetri was also present. We presented our movie in Aldershot at Princess hall. I was pretty much excited with the response of people present there. I felt that my hard work paid off. The happiness was exactly justified as I wanted. Ex irrigation minister of Europe,The prime minister of Nepal late Sushil koirala, ministers, actors, reporters, writers and film-makers gave a very warm response. Which we knew through various news and televisions.
Q: while choosing actors in “Teen Ghumti” what was the one thing in your mind? Do you think it is justified?
A: More than seeking for successful actors we wanted someone giving the role its true identity. Someone who could give the fictional role its life. With that consent : Indramaya (Garima Panta), Pitamber ( Dhurba Dutta) and Ramesh ( Sushant Karki )was given the main role. We are satisfied by the work of all the actors. Movie got a positive reaction due to these actors being so dedicated towards their work. And this has been vividly seen through the work. Their performance was appreciated in the Nepalese and the UK premier of the movie for all my artist.
Q: What are your further plans now?
A: Keeping up with the expectations of audience and believing on my fate and hoping to give more excellent movies with the exquisite story lines. Alongside the charity shows we are preparing “Teen Ghumti” release on Ashar 17 And we shall carry on the good deeds.
Q: So the final words you want to say?
A: With the blessings of foreigners and immense love from audience I am here today, and shall always give them the love in all the possible ways I can. I will try to give my life the best I have, and hope to get the best from it. In the Nepali history of movies I shall always try to give it the movies that it can remember forever and my step towards it has already been started through “Teen Ghumti”.
Thank you all.
